Red Rock Canyon + Vegas Strip Evening
Starts 3:00 PM · All within 30 min of hotel
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Red Rock Canyon — Scenic Loop Drive
13-mile one-way scenic drive with pull-offs through towering red sandstone formations. Late afternoon golden light is the best time of day here — the canyon literally glows. Best stop: Calico Hills (10-min walk into cream-and-red formations). Allow 90 minutes at a relaxed pace.
7:15 PM – 9:30 PM
The Venetian — Grand Canal Shoppes
Walk through the indoor Grand Canal under a hand-painted sky ceiling with gondolas gliding past on real water, cobblestone streets, and live performers. Feels like stepping into Venice, Italy. Free to walk. The gondola ride is optional but a great family memory. Excellent dinner restaurants line the canal.
9:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Bellagio Fountains + Strip Walk
Fountains run every 15 minutes after 8 PM — grab the bridge over the lake for the best view. Free. Walk south past Paris Las Vegas (Eiffel Tower lit at night) and New York-New York for the classic Vegas nighttime Strip experience with both families.
